Beyond Ideologies

When you stand for an ideology, if you can recognize the truth in people that don't support your beliefs, and if you can see through flaws in your ideologies and beliefs, you are growing beyond ideologies.

Can communism ever win?

Why's communism such a failure? Well, the land that people sow communism seed on is infertile. It all starts with individuals. An individual who cultivates a communistic attitude towards his/her family gives the family space to grow and rely on each other. The more such individuals crop up and occupy a country, it becomes fertile soil for sustainable communism to sprout. When resentment runs deep towards the rich, the revolution and the rapid transition to become a communist country is always set to failure. Everyone has their roles to play in society. Good governance and regulations are what is needed to keep corruption of the system at bay. A country cannot thrive (subjective) with communism alone. But a country can either be communist dominant or capitalist dominant and still thrive. When countries know how to balance their capitalism and communism, they birth social harmony, Innovations, and economic stability. I am, at the Fed level, libertarian; at the state leve...

Strength of my beliefs

Do not harden your beliefs each time you listen or read to something that's against yours. The harder your belief system transforms, the more away you get drifted from the truth. Hold on to your beliefs, have them challenged and be open to criticisms and ideas contrary to your beliefs. That's how you make your beliefs stronger, however paradoxical it may sound. And do not become instrumental in others hardening their beliefs that resonate with yours or otherwise. The more knowledgeable one becomes, the closer one gets to the reality of how farther away one is from the knowledge itself.

Suffer Well

When your last bit of human dignity is stripped off of you, you would either become an animal or a spiritually elevated self. Suffer well. "There is only one thing that I dread: not to be worthy of my sufferings." - Dostoevski

Resistance to Enlightenment

Ideologies constructed from the intent of supporting people's well-being are in general a noble doctrine on paper until it is handed over to people and its leadership to implement it. The problem in most cases doesn't lie with the manifesto but with the people! A whole mass of resentful, angry, and destructive focused mob (mixed with people who truly deserve justice and more in number) will make radical moves on what they consider the opposite side and terrorize a whole country under a tyrant's leadership! Before this original doctrine could have its test run, build regulations to adhere to the well-being of everyone, the transition is rapid and the result is devastating as with the case of Russia, China, Germany, Cambodia and so on. Demonizing the opposite side is a common practice even today. When your inclination for a particular side gets cemented, you start mingling with people who support it, you start watching news channels that demonize the other side and glorif...

How Brilliant Idea Blossoms

You read, learn and brew different ideas and when that is an ongoing process, initially you are not sure how to construct your new ideas into well-articulated or well-constructed concepts. Maybe they are just half-assed and not ready to shine in a debate. Most times it's like things you read, grasped, and brewed all have faded and you don't even remember them anymore sharply. What I come to realize is, it's not faded from your memory. It's sitting there comfortably and waiting for something else to ignite a spark (from whatever source) so it can catch fire and become wild. It's all sitting there...maybe a new article you are reading..maybe a particular chapter from the current book you are reading..maybe an unusual conversation with someone... Something's gonna create a wildfire out of it. It's sitting there...waiting for its moment...keep exploring so it finds its source quickly.

Random train of thoughts Dec 05 2021

Whichever part of the spectrum you fall, for your arguments about your reality to be sharp, you become the seeker of objective truth however deep it cuts through. You will get a better understanding of the world when people from different part of the spectrum produces their cases sharp that's backed with reason. Arguments without reason are just noises and half-assed exaggerations which have their place but need to be ignored when you are seeking the ultimate solution. For one's intuition to work for him/her the facts and learnings about reality should be objective. When graphs are produced by optimists about our ignorance towards the fact that the world has improved on several fronts like literacy rate, poverty, lifetime expectancy, etc., the question I am left with is...at what cost? A person who's both worried about human welfare and environmental hazards at the same time doesn't make much sense... because the current dynamics we have created simply translates...
