Know Thyself.

Before you go into the world defining what you are to the world. Know thyself. Learn how ridiculous you are.. analyze your shadow side to see how dangerous you are.. understand how silly and egoistical you are. Once you have a grasp of your true nature, you will come to realize you are not as pathetic or ridiculous or dangerous after all (as you feared to be secretly in your everyday imaginations). Living with the fear that you could be a dangerous person, without measuring the depth of it manifests into the danger itself. Failing to understand your unexplored territory just remains a dangerous place in your head with moral values for your choice of weapon or shield to show the world you are a good soul. This leads you on a path where you live an entire life faking a persona that really isn't you and defending it with a belligerent vehemence.

Liberty and Enslavement

We are under social contracts when we signup to function along with a society or a community. The dawn of civilization was based on the equation where individual's participation in a group collectively decided the fate of a group, good or bad. The idea of individuals making choices for themselves or putting themselves first meant blasphemy. With this construct we have evolved over thousands and thousands of years and now our evolution gives space for any individual to function autonomously while still very much being a constructive part of a group or a commune. Now this conflict between the autonomous liberty and the age old concept of putting wellness of your group first is our human condition. It feels like unicellular organisms evolved to be multicellular to create even more complex unicellular organisms and the process expands on and on!

Introspection

Be brutal in dissecting and analyzing the true nature of your emotions. I am gonna stop living up to my reputation, especially when I have to dissect my emotions, feelings, and reactions about everything. I want to dissect them and analyze for its true nature..where it comes from? Is it dark? Is it because I feel insignificant? Or am I feeling jealous? Is it my frustration because things are not going my way? Is it lust-related resentment? Doing this introspection without mixing my conditioned self that thinks what's just and unjust or without the influence of my beliefs about possession of a certain reputation or some illusionary holiness.

Mind Palace

You have fifty to seventy thousand thoughts every single day approximately. And 80% or more of those thoughts are repetitive and the same as you had the previous day. The quality of your thoughts greatly alters your perception of the world around you. If you are not exposed to new concepts and ideas, you are ill-equipped to brew new thoughts to widen and expand your consciousness into new dimensions. On the other hand, when you expose your brain to ideas through quality books and other available sources, you are using your thought quota to think about new things starting a loop that goes on and on to compound. As this process continues and defines your perception, you find yourself to be in the path of enlightenment.
